Opal & Oak was born from a desire to bring thoughtful, design-led interiors to the Southern Highlands, designing spaces that feel as good as they look. With an eye for light, layering, and natural materials, I set out to build a brand that mirrored my interiors practice: refined, grounded, and quietly expressive.
The brand identity was designed to feel tactile, trustworthy, and composed. The logotype blends classic and contemporary influences, while a muted navy anchors the palette with strength and depth. Every design element, from the refined typography to the subtle brand icon, was crafted to evoke both calm and confidence.
The Brand Launch
Opal & Oak officially launched in March 2026, and to celebrate the occasion and to connect with the local community, I organised a launch event at The Ferris Wheel art gallery in Bowral. Local architects, builders, photographers, buyers agents and shop owners were personally invited to get to know Opal & Oak and the work that I do.
Along with the launch, I created a six-episode mini docu series on Instagram, showing the behind the scenes of ‘launching the brand’.
